As Power TK, we are looking for a Service Planning Engineer who will be responsible for planning service operations, coordinating field and workshop activities, managing technician utilization rates, and improving technical service efficiency. This role acts as a critical bridge between field teams and workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan field service requests and organize the relevant teams
  • Analyze technical failure reports from Service Engineers and define appropriate intervention plans
  • Coordinate field interventions and workshop repair processes simultaneously
  • Prepare and monitor daily and weekly schedules of technician teams
  • Plan engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of work orders, service reports, and technical records
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of service operations efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and workshop operational standards
  • Manage operational tracking through ERP and service management systems

Profile required

Position Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
  • Additional training in diesel engines, power generation systems, or service operations is an asset

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel engines, generator systems, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery sectors
  • Experience in field service planning and coordination
  • Experience in managing technician teams or workshop operations
  • Experience with OEM service standards (preferably Perkins or similar manufacturers) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of engine overhaul, repair, and testing processes is preferred

Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and power generation equipment
  • Good understanding of maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes
  • Ability to analyze technical failure descriptions and develop solution plans
  • Familiarity with workshop workflows and engine testing procedures
  • Ability to manage field and workshop operations simultaneously
  • Strong technical reporting and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards

IT Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Experience with ERP systems, service management tools, or maintenance planning software is an advantage
  • Ability to manage technical data and service records effectively

  • Effective communication and team coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
